Your contribution directly supports:

• Student-Hosted Programming: Funding ensures we can maintain and support 75+ hours of student-run shows, giving members a platform to learn, share, and connect with the campus and the world. WQAQ allows students of any major or year to host shows, along with any interested members of the QU community, and we boast a diverse organization where students can share their personality, taste, and interests.

• Keeping the Station Running: Your donations help cover the operational costs that keep WQAQ on the air, including paying for station engineering, our digital stream that allows friends and family to listen from afar, and upgrading our broadcast equipment to stay up-to-date.

• Fall Fest: Contributions support our annual Fall Fest event, a cornerstone of QU’s campus culture where students can come together and enjoy live music, activities, and fun. We love being able to bring major artists and fun, engaging activities right to Quinnipiac’s Quad. This event is co-sponsored with the Student Programming Board, and it takes a significant amount of funding and volunteer effort to put this event on.

• Hands-On Media Learning: Every dollar helps provide students with real-world media experience, not just on air. WQAQ operates as a press publication, allowing students to get press accreditation to photograph or write about concerts, interview artists, and build their portfolios.
