The Legends A Cappella is Quinnipiac University’s premier—and only—A Cappella group. Founded in 2012, the group began as a small circle of students who shared a passion for music and a vision to create a space where anyone, regardless of major, could come together and sing.
Since then, The Legends have grown into a powerhouse on campus and beyond, performing at annual concerts, university events, athletic games, and prestigious off-campus venues—including Madison Square Garden and Radio City Music Hall, where they opened for the Rockettes.
Since 2018, The Legends have proudly competed in the Varsity Vocals International Championship of Collegiate A Cappella (ICCA), the same competition featured in the movie Pitch Perfect! Over the past four years, the group has seen incredible success:
- 2022 – First Place at ICCA Northeast Quarterfinals, with awards for Best Vocal Percussion and Best Choreography
- 2023 – Third Place at ICCA Northeast Quarterfinals, with an award for Best Choreography
- 2024 – Second Place at ICCA Northeast Quarterfinals
- 2025 – First Place at ICCA Northeast Quarterfinals, with awards for Best Soloist and Best Vocal Percussion
