Gifts to Altschuler Veterans Fund contribute to...
At Quinnipiac, we honor the sacrifices made by active and retired military personnel on behalf of the United States. We have a long history of supporting the educational aspirations of our country's veterans, active and reserve military, and National Guard members.
The Altschuler U.S. Veterans Endowment Fund at Quinnipiac University stands as a testament to the university's unwavering commitment to those who have served our nation. Established through a generous $1 million donation from alumnus and trustee Arthur Rice, a Vietnam War veteran, this fund specifically addresses the financial gaps faced by undergraduate veterans during summer sessions and the January term—periods not covered by the Post-9/11 GI Bill.
Beyond financial support, Quinnipiac offers a holistic approach to veteran integration, providing resources such as dedicated veterans' lounges, a Student Veterans Organization, and personalized academic advising. These initiatives ensure that veterans not only succeed academically but also find a supportive community that values their unique experiences.
Through the Altschuler U.S. Veterans Endowment Fund, Quinnipiac University continues to honor and empower those who have served, fostering an environment where veteran students can thrive. πΊπΈπͺ
