Gifts to College of Arts & Sciences contribute to...
Support the academic heart and intellectual core of Quinnipiac with your gift to the College of Arts & Sciences!
When you make a gift to the College of Arts & Sciences Academic Excellence Fund, you are supporting operations for more than 1,700 majors, 1,200 minors, and all 6,557 undergraduate students (and some graduate) who take at least a quarter of their required courses from the College. Here are some of the other ways your support makes a difference:
- Study abroad and experiential learning: Study abroad and experiential learning are crucial for College of Arts & Sciences students at Quinnipiac University. These opportunities allow students to immerse themselves in different cultures, enhancing their global awareness and intercultural competence. By participating in semester-long programs, short-term faculty-led courses, and service-learning opportunities, students can apply their classroom knowledge in real-world settings, gaining valuable professional skills and personal growth.
- Study abroad opportunities run the gambut and include trips to Hungary, Dubai, Guatemala, Morocco, Nicaragua, and dozens of other locations around the world.
- Experiential learning includes opportunities like students presenting research in Biology at a professional conference or Political Science majors attending and covering the presidential primaries in New Hampshire.
- Recruiting top-notch faculty in the sciences: Recruiting and retaining the best and brightest faculty and researchers requires competitive start-up packages for setting up labs and purchasing state-of-the-art equipment.
- Pollinator garden: The pollinator garden at Quinnipiac's Albert Schweitzer Institute provides food and shelter to a wide range of local pollinators, promoting a healthy ecosystem. Beyond these organisms, the pollinator garden provides opportunities for research, education, and positive well-being in the greater Bobcat community, facilitated by the College of Arts & Sciences. Students from all backgrounds at Quinnipiac complete community service, research, and learn how to make an impact on the local Hamden community through the pollinator garden.
Make your gift to support the College of Arts & Sciences and have a direct impact on students, faculty, and the critical work that is being done through the College every day.
